With over two decades of experience in corporate innovation and training, as well as over a decade in startup creation, coaching, and mentoring, Carlo P. Valencia is a distinguished professional dedicated to fostering growth and innovation. He has collaborated with national government agencies, large enterprises, and startup founders in various capacities, making significant contributions to their development.
Carlo is a vocal advocate of the grassroots community, Startup PH, and the founder of his own community, Startup PH Training. He actively participates in local and nationwide incubator programs sponsored by the DTI, DOST, and DICT, where he speaks, teaches, and supports budding entrepreneurs.
His teaching philosophy is action-driven, emphasizing a “Begin by Understanding” and “Fail Fast, Often, and Forward” mindset. He values mindfulness, gratitude, and creating trust through transparency.
Before embarking on his entrepreneurial journey, Carlo spent seven years at HSBC as a Training Coordinator, where he honed his skills in corporate training and program development.
