With over a decade of experience, he specializes in Auditing, Accounting, Financial Management, and Financial Statement Analysis. John earned his MBA from Ateneo de Manila University Graduate School of Business (AGSB) and Regis University. He has completed Strategic Disaster Risk Management and Leadership programs at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM), and training in Collaborative Teaching through the COIL Model at Universidad La Salle – Mexico City.
As a seasoned executive, John serves as the Managing Partner, Co-Founder, CEO, and Executive Director of Lopo, Asuzano, Ortega and Co. CPA, Strived Executive Asia, Strived Consultancy Group, Strived Accounting Services & Advanced Review Solution CPA Review Center. Additionally, he holds the positions of COO & CFO at Best Choice Packaging Inc. He co-founded FASTAX Accounting Solutions Inc and previously served as Comptroller and Financial Planning and Analysis Manager at JA Farms Asia Pacific Inc. & Santa Fe Moving and Relocation Services. With extensive experience in the food and beverage industry, John was Senior Finance Analyst at San Miguel Brewery Inc. and San Miguel Purefoods Inc., subsidiaries of San Miguel Corporation.
Beyond his corporate roles, John contributes to education as CPA Review and Refresher Director at Philippine School of Business Administration – Manila (PSBA) and part-time accounting professor at top institutions including Ateneo de Manila University – John Gokongwei School of Management (JGSOM), AGSB, De La Salle University-Manila (DLSU), University of Asia and Pacific (UA&P), San Beda University Manila, and PSBA.
